Atlantic City's Borgata

Borgata is located in the Marina District of Atlantic City near Harrah's and Golden Nugget. The Boardwalk is about two miles away.

To get to Borgata from the Atlantic City Expressway, take Exit #1 onto the AC / Brigantine Connector (the tunnel), and proceed towards the marina and Borgata (it is well-marked).

OWNERSHIP

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, which opened in July 2003, is a joint venture of Boyd Gaming and MGM Mirage.

Hotel @ Borgata

Borgata's 40-story hotel tower has over 2,000 luxurious rooms and suites, with marbled bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, high speed internet access, as well as many other amenities.

The Water Club, which opened in June 2008, is the Borgata's newest hotel. The new tower has 800 guest rooms, five swimming pools, a two-story spa, restaurants, meeting space, and shops.

The Casino @ Borgata

Borgata's casino, which measures over 160,000 square feet, contains the latest slots (over 3000 machines), 180 table games, and a racebook. The 85 table poker room (the largest in Atlantic City) hosts major tournament events and daily tournaments (multi and single table).

Dining @ Borgata

Borgata has more than one dozen restaurants, from fine dining to casual. In addition to the traditional genres (seafood, steak house, American, Asian, etc), there are some modern creations and eclectic spots to eat as well.

Izakaya - is a modern Japanese pub serving sushi, robotayaki, sake and cocktails.Their signature dish is an Edamame Dumpling Spicy Tuna Cracker.

Old Homestead Steak House - This is where the beef is. Old Homestead is a New York landmark. Enjoy steak, Kobe beef, or seafood ($30 and up). Their signature dish is a 36 ounce Gotham Rib Steak.

Bobby Flay Steak - steak house and lobster bar. TBobby Flay is famous for his Southwestern style and bold grilling techniques. The Signature dish is a Philadelphia-Style Strip Steak.

Wolfgang Puck American Grille - contemporary American cuisine. The restaurant's Main Dining Room provides a sophisticated setting, while The Tavern offers moderately priced items. The signature dish in the Main Dining Room is Gulf Shrimp and Sweet Corn Risotto with Asparagus, Parmesan and Crisp Parsley. In the Tavern the signature dish is a Bone-in Tibeye Steak with Maytag Blue Cheese Butter and French Fries.

Fornelletto - A casual fine dining experience that features southern Italian Cuisine in a setting that features a wine cellar ambieence. The signature dish is Osso Buco Milanese.

Borgata Buffet - (casual) Open for breakfast (about $17), lunch ($20), dinner ($34), and brunch ($28).

Boargata Baking Company - (casual) bakery treats, sandwiches, specialty coffee.

Long Bar - (casual) upscale bar food (pizza, lobster tacos, clams, etc).

28 West - (casual) piano bar with tapas style bar menu.

The Metropolitan - (casual) European-style bistro serving American food. Special features: oyster and gelato bars.

Bread + Butter - serves sandwiches desserts and gourmet beverages.

Noodles of the World (N.O.W.) - (casual) Located within the casino. Enjoy Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean noodle soups and dishes.

Sunroom - Located in the center of the lobby at The Water Club. Features small bites and tapas.

The Cafeteria - casual, fast food outlet.

You will also find a Starbucks in Borgata.

Borgata Entertainment

Headline acts and shows are held at the Event Center, which seats 2400. The Music Box, which seats 1000, also hosts live music acts.

Bars and nightclubs with live DJs and dancing are: B Bar (and ultralounge), and Premiere Nightclub. The Gypsy Bar's schedule includes live music acts and DJs.

For a good laugh, enjoy an evening at Borgata Comedy Club, which typically hosts a few comics each week.

Swimming Pool - landscaped pool with cabanas and bar.

Pump Room is Borgata's high-tech fitness center.

Spa Toccare - the 54,000 square-foot European-style spa offers relaxing treatments including massage, facials, baths, scrubs, and others.

Immersion Spa - a two-story spa, located on the 32nd floor. Offers full spa services as well as a lap pool and fitness center.

The Salon & The Barbershop at Borgata - hair, makeup, nails, and bridal services. The Barbershop provides mens haircuts, shaves, pedicures, manicures, and waxing.
