Trains from Philadelphia to Atlantic City

NJ Transit's Atlantic City Line
The Atlantic City Line (ATLC) operates between Philadelphia's 30th St Station (PHL) and Atlantic City with over a dozen trains daily (adult fare $8 one way, 95 minutes). Please visit NJTransit.com for more information including timetables and fare options.

Trains from New York City & Newark to Atlantic City

Atlantic City Express Service (ACES)
ACES, which began service in February 2009 and is operated by NJ Transit, offers direct weekend service from New York's Penn Station (NYP) to Atlantic City with one stop at Newark's Penn Station (NWK). The trip takes around 2 3/4 hours from New York City, and coach fares run from about $45 each way. A complimentary shuttle is provided from Atlantic City Station to Borgata, Caesars, and Harrah's. Tickets can be purchased through Amtrak (use station code ACE for this route). Please see the ACES Train website for further information.

Amtrak
Trains to PHL include the NE Regional, Acela Express, Vermonter, Pennsylvanian, and Keystone. Connect at PHL to the Thruway Train. The entire trip takes about 4 hours (including the connection in PHL), with fares from $53 one way. Visit Amtrak.com for timetables and to book tickets.

NJ Transit & SEPTA
Take NJ Transit's NE Corridor Line (NEC) to Trenton (TRE), then ride SEPTA's R7 line into Philly. Adult fare for the NYP to TRE segment is $12.50 (one way), and the trip takes 75-90 minutes. The SEPTA fare for TRE to PHL is $8 (45 minutes). Once in Philadelphia, take the Atlantic City Line (ATLC) offered by NJ Transit (about 95 minutes, $8 adults). Trains from New England to Atlantic City

Amtrak
Ride to Philadelphia (trains include the Acela Express, Northeast Regional, and the Vermonter). Then connect to the Thruway Train into Atlantic City (ACY). The entire trip can be booked through Amtrak.com.

Trains from Wilmington, DE; Baltimore, MD; & Washington DC to Atlantic City

Amtrak
Ride Amtrak's NE Regional service from Wilmington, Baltimore Penn Station, or Washington Union Station to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station (PHL).
