Hotel @ Tropicana Atlantic CityThe Tropicana has four hotel towers and over 2,000 rooms and suites. The new Havana Tower, which opened in 2004, made Tropicana the largest hotel in the state.We stayed in the South Tower, which gave us a view down the Boardwalk and beach towards the Hilton. This was before the renovations, so it was a pretty basic room and did not have any fancy amenities. It was clean and comfortable, and priced right. Rooms now include complimentary wireless internet access. Swimming Pools - indoor (South Tower) and outdoor (North Tower) pools. Salon at Tropicana - located on the first floor, unisex, offers facials, tanning, manicures, and pedicures. bluemercury spa - a wide variety of treatments and therapies, located in The Quarter. Tropicana Health Club - located on the 6th floor has exercise facilities ($10 charge). Business Center - full service facility for business types, meeting goers and conventioneers. Provides internet access, copying and printing, office equipment rentals, mailing and shipping. Meetings - function space includes ballrooms, exhibition center, and breakout rooms. Professional catering is also available.
Casino @ Tropicana Atlantic CityThe Tropicana has over 140,000 square feet of gaming space with 2,600 slot machines and 170 tables. The casino also includes the poker room and Jade Palace (Asian table games and theme).Tropicana clearly puts an effort into developing unique and fun promotions and gaming options designed to appeal to a wide audience and set itself apart from the local competition. There is always some new reason to check out the Tropicana Casino. The casino, which is on three levels, is composed of several different theme and game areas, including the Havana Rooftop Slots (located on the third level), The Crystal Room (high limit slots), and the plush Palm Cove Slots. Jade Palace is the Tropicana's Asian gaming room, which includes table game (Mini Baccarat, Pai Gow Tiles, Sic Bo, and Pai Gow Poker) as well as a noodle bar. The Trop Poker Club - there are 27 poker tables (two tournaments daily). Carmine's - family-style Italian restaurant, famous in the Big Apple, with the goal of presenting every meal in the manner of an "Italian American wedding feast"now in The Quarter. The Comedy Stop Cafe and Cabaret- dinner and show packages are available. Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - eat traditional Cuban cuisine as well as "Nuevo Cubano" dishes in a 12,000 square-foot space which envelopes you in the essence of 1950s Cuba. Fiesta Buffet - The buffet with a view overlooking the Boardwalk and beach. Asian, American, Italian and hand-carved beef stations. Surf and Turf dinner available from 4pm to 9 pm. Their wine list, featuringItalian wines, has recieved the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine. P.F. Chang's China Bistro - fresh, contemporary Chinese cuisine in a stylish setting. Dedicated menus are available for those who follow vegetarian and gluten-free diets. Located in The Quarter. The Palm - known as much for its A-list celebrity regulars and caricature-adorned walls as for its aged prime beef, Nova Scotia lobster and Italian specialities. Specialties include beef, lobster, and Italian entrees. In The Quarter. Chickie's and Pete's Crab House and Sports Bar - Full service restaurant and sports bar with over 50 TV's. Crab Fries are a featured menu item. Casa Taco & Tequila Bar - Mexican favorites and their signature table-side guacamole. Marketplace Express - Coffee, drinks, pastries, breakfast sanwiches and wraps. Tony Luke's - "real taste of SouthPhilly" cheesesteaks and other sandwiches. Ri~Ra Irish Pub - authentic Irish pub,serving traditional Irish fare and classic American favorites with an Irish twist. in The Quarter. Seaside Cafe - casual dining. Gourmet pizzas are served from an authentic Italian brick oven. located on the second floor. Zeytinia Gourmet Food & Marketplace - a blend of a country market, gourmet shop, informal eatery, coffee shop and take-out place. Sanwiches, wraps, sushi and pastries ENTERTAINMENT AND SHOPPING Tropicana Showroom - This 'Broadway style' theater is Atlantic City's largest showroom. It hosts musical acts and various other shows. The Comedy Stop is the Trop's comedy club. IMAX Theater - feature films and special presentations. Rumba Lounge - located on the casino floor with live entertainment on weekend nights. Tango's Lounge - live entertainment most evenings.
